My session mixes sound good. I'm bouncing to disk as an MP3 at the slowest possible rate. Bounce to Disk > MP3 > Convert After Bounce > Slowest > 2.3 IDG The resulting mp3 sounds pretty good in my car & home stereos, but sounds awful in my laptop mp3 player; especially the low-end bass & kick drum. Also, it is fairly quiet. Does anyone have any advice on how to improve the bounce to disk quality? Thank you pribb1

What bit-rate? 160 is barely passable. Try at least 256. Quiet? Try the Wavearts Final Plug 5.

Your lap top's speakers will not reproduce the bass like those in the car would.
