Interior Light/Red light on dashboard

Help needed please, I have tried a search but can't find anything similar, My interior light has started to flash on/off every now and then whilst driving along....Also the red light on the top of the dash flashes everynow and then too, very intermettent, have checked my doors and boot are all closed and they are fine..........Anyone got any ideas??????

Sounds like a dodgy door switch to me, that would cause the interior light to come on and I assume the red light is the door ajar warning.

If it is the red light in the passenger side speaker try cleaning the alarm contact at the bonnet catch. 2nd the door switch for the interior light.

I just clean mine with WD, I find grease catches any grime and gets it even dirtier
