Tascam US 16x08

Anyone using this. Price is right but is it decent? Drivers? Thanks

I don't know anything about it, but I found this YouTube vid about it - and it looks like their using it with REAPER, too! Might be just the info you need. Hope it helps.

I have the US 2X2 and have never had a problem with it. I've had it close to a year now.

I'm using it with Reaper 4 and Windows 8.1 on a laptop; works perfectly even down to 64 samples. Make sure you have the latest drivers; the 1.04 update fixed a Reaper issue.

I absolutely LOVE my US-16x08. Once the Win10 drivers shipped (current is v1.04), it's been rock solid. The driver loads really early in the boot sequence. I'm running at the minimum sample size (64), with ZERO glitches. Very happy. One really nice, unadvertised feature is the pop control for powered monitors. I get ZERO pop if I forget to power down my monitors before powering down the Tascam. If I could add only ONE thing, it would be a second headphone jack connected to Line Outs 3 & 4, so I could have separate headphone mixes for myself and a second musician.

Will it work with Windows 7?
